i love this one. it certainly borrows from the beauty of the object and sets out on it's own. i like how one side is lit an the other is in the shadows and all that lovliness happening in-between. then there's the delicious surface of the lit crust and it's soft interior which actually looks eatable. ohhhhh and that little bit of light on the cut piece. this is a complex beautiful composition! the little bit of blue grey in the foreground is really nice with the yolk colored bread......can we eat the bread yet? i remember having to ask mom when we could eat dad's bread. the smell drives you crazy!!!!!!!! (in a good way)
